Jersey man Trevor Collenette has been freed unconditionally by the authorities in Gibraltar.
Mr Collenette, 51, was held for more than 50 days after customs found cocaine worth £8m on the yacht he was sailing with three others.
Gibraltar police could not find any link between him and the drugs and a magistrates court in Gibraltar set him free unconditionally on Tuesday.
