Byte Art win Channel Islands Stock Exchange tender

17/09/2003

Byte Art has been awarded the contract to redevelop the Channel Islands Stock Exchange website and integrate the system with their new company news application.
The Channel Islands Stock Exchange (CISX) was designed to bring the expertise available in The Channel Islands to the growing number of international businesses requiring first class offshore financial services within the European time-zone.
The proposed web system will run on a custom programmed set of pages built around a PostgreSQL database system delivered by a cluster of Red Hat Linux servers.
The contract was awarded to the agency after a five way tender process. "We are delighted to be given this opportunity to work with such a distinguished financial institution as the Exchange," said Byte Art production director Simon Bone, "and intend to fully satisfy their demanding technical requirements."
